  • About Us

ALSAC was founded in 1957 for the sole purpose of raising funds for the continued support and maintenance of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Thanks to the support of 1.1 million volunteers and more than 5 million donors around the country, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital can pursue founder Danny Thomas' dream that "no child should die in the dawn of life.” Public contributions are the primary source of funds for the hospital. No family or child is denied treatment or turned away for an inability to pay.
