About Us
Notre Dame AmeriCorps is seeking full time volunteers to work in the fields of education and community service in underserved neighborhoods. Volunteers most often work as tutors, classroom aides, and in after school programs with elementary school children. They also work in community outreach programs. All positions are in South Los Angeles or the San Gabriel region. Participants agree to complete 1700 hours of service over an 11 month period of time. Basic health insurance, a living allowance, child care provision and an education award are benefits provided.
