    About Us

    ABOUT US

For decades, Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Toronto have been well known and respected for the important service they provide to children in our community. This time has created an appreciation for the powerful role that mentors play in young people's lives. Big Brothers and Sisters of Toronto is a nonprofit organization focusing on providing mentors to children in need of additional positive adult support. A Big Brother or Sister is somebody who is a friend to a child. Somebody who will listen to them, play with them and share their time and their heart with a Little Brother or Sister. WHAT WE DO Big Brothers and Sisters of Toronto matches adults over the age of 19 to children between the ages of six and 18 in a one-to-one mentoring relationship that is fun and rewarding to both.

We also give youth over the age of 16 a chance to be a Big Brother or Sister to a child through our school-based program.
