    About Us

Founded in 1905, the Humane Society of North Texas is the oldest animal welfare organization in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. HNST serves animals in need by providing services such as pet adoptions, spay/neuter surgeries and low-cost vaccinations, returning lost pets to their owners, cruelty investigations and humane euthanasia. We operate two adoption centers in Tarrant County as well as PetSmart and PetCo Cat Adoption Centers and an equine and livestock ranch located in Johnson County.
