    We are dedicated to giving back to those who give so much by funding service dogs for Veterans. Whalens Heroes’s goal is to improve the mental health and well-being of individuals serving our community. Whalens Heroes will assist with the fundraising, for the training and successful placement of service animals to show gratitude and support to those individuals who endure countless sacrifices to protect our community.

    About Us

    We raise money to pay for the professional training of a service dog for Veterans and First Responders that suffer from PTSD. The dogs/training are on an average of $50,000 per dog. We are fortunate enough to partner with a trainer that only charges $25,000 for a dog for a Veteran. We started in June 1st of 2022, with our first donation on 8/10/2022. By November 10, 2022 we were able to present a dog to a Navy Veteran. We have a goal of adding one dog each year. To do this we have different events as well as soliciting donations and grants.
