About Us
Chinese Methodist Center Corporation (CMCC) is a non for profit 501(c)3 faith based organization located in the NYC Chinatown community. The organization provides programs for education, culture, recreation, and social services for the Chinese community. The main component of CMCC is its Mei Wah Chinese School. Nearly 200 youngsters ages 5 to 14 pour through the CMCC doors as students of the Mei Wah Chinese School. They are taught to read and write Chinese and to appreciate the Chinese culture. Mei Wah Chinese School also provides tutorial for children who need additional help for their homework. CMCC currently also runs the Mei Wah Daycare, catering to kids from age 3 to 5. It is an all-day service that provides an educational experience for kids to learn and be cared for while their parents work.
