    The National Association of Resource Conservation and Development Councils (NARC&DC) represents 375 Resource Conservation and Development (RC&D) Councils and 39 applicant Councils. RC&D Councils provide a unique process for the nation to develop its economic, natural, and social resources in ways that improve the economy, environment, and quality of life. There are RC&D Councils located in all 50 states, the Caribbean, and the Pacific Basin serving a combined 85% of all US counties and 77% of the total US population.
