United Youth Initiative

Youth are missing something. Many of them are inspired by people, places and issues around the world. They want to do something to help, and they have a hunger for change. Too often, however, they loose that feeling as they move back into their busy lives. They don't know what they can do, and they often feel alone.

UYI is about standing together.

The idea is simple - bring together passionate young people to make change in the world. The results are incredible - young people make change on a consistent basis, both locally and internationally, through actions and organizations, and the movement grows.

UYI is a spirited group of young people that confronts various issues, both through understanding them, raising awareness, volunteering, fund raising, and pressuring government to act.

Anyone who is hungry for change can fund a place in the work we do. We are planning our first major planning and action day for December 15th in Toronto.
