Napa CASA, A Voice for Children
Mission
Napa CASA, A Voice for Children recruits, trains and supervises community volunteers to advocate for children who have been abused, neglected, or abandoned by their parents and are dependents of the Juvenile Court. Napa CASA provides a trained volunteer who will act as a consistent mentor, role model and support person and will advocate for the child's best interests.
About Us
CASA is a private, non-profit organization that works with abused and neglected children under the jurisdiction of the juvenile court. CASAs are trained volunteers who are appointed by the judge to represent the best interests of the child. During the time the child remains in the juvenile court system, the CASA investigates the child's circumstances, provides factual information and makes recommendations to the court while becoming a support system to the child.
