 The specific and primary purposes are to enhance the preservation of animals including wildlife that are found to be in need of nursing, veterinary or rehabilitation services where no private owner exists.  The general purposes and powers are to have and exercise all rights and powers conferred on non-profit corporations under the laws of WA, including the power to contract, rent, buy or sell personal, real property, provided, however, that this corporation shall not, except to an insubstantial degree engage in any activities or exercise any powers that are not in furtherance of the primary purpose of the corporation. Said organization is organized exclusively for charitable, educational and scientific purposes, including, for such purposes, making of distributions to organizations that qualify as exempt organizations under section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue code or corresponding section of any future federal tax code.
