About Us

The mission of the Momentum AIDS Project is to sustain health and foster hope by providing a communal meal and supportive services in a caring envirionment to any person with HIV infection, their family members, and loved ones in New York City. Momentum strives to accompish its mission by creating a hospitable environment in which hope can develop, the spirit is nurtured, and clients are enabled to improve the quality of their lives by: making services accessible to persons in their own communities and providing a comprehensive network of care focusing on nutrition & supportive services including: family style meals, take-home pantry bags, and nutritional counseling; clothing; harm reduction counseling; health treatment and education; social work and family services; housing and entitlements advocacy; pastoral counseling; education and prevention information; support groups and referrals to outside services.
