Guardian Partners

MISSION: Protecting the dignity and safety of Oregonians under guardianship, including seniors & adults with disabilities and minors, and supporting court-appointed fiduciaries with case monitoring, education and resources.

Guardian Partners provides education to newly appointed fiduciaries as well as trains Volunteer Monitors to review existing adult guardianship cases throughout Oregon as appointed by county Probate Courts. Our goal is to ensure that vulnerable populations are safe and being treated with the utmost dignity and respect. Volunteer Monitors interview Guardians, Professionals, and meet in-person with the adult under guardianship. Acting as the eyes and ears of the Court, volunteers complete a report with resources, recommendations, or court intervention as needed. Our Monitoring program is a critical part of Guardian Partners’ work preventing abuse and protecting adults with cognitive impairment, developmental disabilities, and the elderly.
