  • Mission

The National Senior Games Association (NSGA) is a nonprofit Multi-Sports Council member of the United States Olympic Committee that promotes healthy and wellness for adults 50 and over through education, fitness and sport.

    About Us

The National Senior Games association governs the biennial National Senior Games, the largest qualified multi-sport event in the world for seniors. NSGA is comprised of 53 Member Games across the United States and Canada who conduct multi-sport competitions that serve as qualifiers for the National Senior Games. In 1985 in St. Louis, a group of seven men and women formed the original leadership for what was initially known as the National Senior Olympics Organization with a vision to promote healthy lifestyles for adults through fitness, education and sport. Now, 30 years later, Birmingham is proud to be the host of the 2017 National Senior Games and show the country what the Magic City has to offer.
