Unconscious Bias Project

The Unconscious Bias Project is a Bay Area based non-profit organization which brings creative, accessible, evidence-based solutions for unintentional bias to academic, technological, and governmental organizations and beyond. We sustain a welcoming home for inquisitive and creative minds and encourage a growth mindset, working by the motto, “0% Guilt, 100% Empowerment.”

Co-Executive Directors Linet and Alexis seek to maintain UBP as an inclusive, equitable, fun space for employees and for volunteers. We believe in transparency to the point that our volunteers know how much the EDs are getting paid - down to the penny. We believe in equity - if you volunteer with us, you can speak at decision-making “All-Star” meetings from Day One. We want to serve our volunteers in return - so you will self-direct your own tasks and use volunteering as a way to continually learn and to develop skills.
