Southeastern Arizona Governments Organization/ Area Agency on Aging

The SouthEastern Arizona Governments Organization (SEAGO ) is a private nonprofit 501(c)3, that provides regional planning services to our local governments in Southeastern Arizona.

SEAGO collaborates with our members in seeking cooperative solutions to area wide issues, providing a forum for regional policy development, and coordinating links between city, town, county, regional, state, and federal agencies.

The goal of the Area Agency on Aging (AAA) is to help older persons live with dignity and choices in their homes and communities for as long as possible.

• The SEAGO AAA contracts with 18 different agencies to provide meals, transportation, and in-home services.
• The AAA also provides health insurance and benefits counseling, long term care ombudsman, information and referral, and fall prevention programs directly.
