About Us
The Douglas/Elbert Task Force is a 501(c) 3 non-profit human service organization dedicated to providing assistance to people in Douglas and Elbert County who are in serious economic need, at risk for homelessness or in a similar crisis. We address immediate needs by providing counseling, food and other necessities for homeless, low income and the working poor people in our community.
This 30 year old private non-profit organization enjoys outstanding collaborative working relationships with other non-profit organizations, churches and government entities, and has an excellent reputation for ethical practices and transparency.
