  • Mission

Metamorphosis Living exists to reverse the trends of homelessness, unemployment, educational deficits, mental health struggles, substance abuse, and frequent encounters with the criminal justice system associated with youth aging out of foster care. We provide targeted, comprehensive services tailored to the unique needs of these young individuals. Our offerings include life skills training, educational support, employment assistance, and housing solutions. All other shelters only offer 30 days or less of housing whereas transitional housing offers up to two years.

    About Us

Metamorphosis Living is a transitional housing nonprofit organization that serves youth aging out of the foster care system. Our mission is to provide safe, supportive, and affordable housing for young adults who have no permanent family or home. We believe that every youth deserves a chance to thrive and succeed in life, regardless of their past experiences or circumstances.

One of the most critical needs for these youth is stable and affordable housing, which is often scarce and inaccessible for them. Without a place to call home, they struggle to find employment, education, health care, and social support. They also face discrimination, stigma, and isolation from their peers and communities. These factors contribute to a cycle of poverty and hopelessness that is hard to break.

That is why Metamorphosis Living exists: to break this cycle and empower youth to transform their lives. We provide not only housing, but also comprehensive services and programs that address the physical, emotional, and social needs of our residents. We help them develop life skills, pursue educational and career goals, access health and mental health care, and connect with positive role models and mentors. We also foster a sense of community and belonging among our residents, staff, and volunteers. We celebrate their achievements and support them through their challenges.
