Animal Rescue Force

  • Mission

Animal Rescue Force places healthy unwanted dogs and cats in responsible homes.

    About Us

Animal Rescue Force is a private non-profit organization established in 1974 in order to find responsible homes for dogs and cats and to encourage all dog and cat owners to spay and neuter their pets. ARF adopts pets through their two adoption centers at the Sayreville Adoption Center in Sayreville, N.J. and at the Englishtown Auction, Englishtown, N.J in the gray building. Some of the animals at ARF come directly from owners who have to give up their pets, but who can keep them at home for a few weeks to work through ARF. Other animals are kept by ARF volunteers in their homes until they are adopted. ARF has found new homes for a total of 40,000 animals in their 40+ years of operation.
