Ananda Laurelwood is sited on 225 acres in the Laurelwood Valley, just west of Portland Oregon. Fertile soils, pure spring water, rolling hills, inspiring views, abundant wildlife and the close proximity of Bald Peak all provide a setting conducive to expansive thinking, creativity, exploration and a sense of harmony with life. Offerings include space for personal retreats and group conferences, monthly weekend meditation courses, weekly volunteer farm days, and both short-term and long-term residential educational programming for those interested in an immersion experience in spiritual practice and sustainable living.

The Karma Yoga residential internship program offers a transformational experience in integrating spiritual practice, service, and community support. Internships include the opportunity to learn and serve in all aspects of our community or to immerse yourself in a particular focus area such as vegetarian cooking, conscious compassion-based eldercare, small-scale organic farming, or an art experience week.
