  • Mission

Your Time for Creative Empowerment, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation that educates and empowers children, adolescents and parents of both secular and faith-based communities in the Long Island area, through the use of the arts, fashion and culture as mechanisms to improve interpersonal relationships; to avoid pitfalls that are unique to life in the 21st Century; and to specifically identify and effectively develop healthy problem-solving, enhance personal development and increase cultural sensitivity.

    About Us

Your Time For Creative Empowerment, Inc. offers youth and parents creative ways of identifying, developing, and formulating self-help solutions to relevant issues that affect them. This is done primarily through workshops, an annual creative empowerment contest and community networking events with a goal for improvement in the areas of personal development, multicultural enrichment, and social acceptance/tolerance. These issues include, but are not limited to, parent/child relationships, peer relationships, anxiety regarding achieving college and high school success, drugs, sex, alcohol and social media use.

Your Time For Creative Empowerment, Inc. believes in and values the idea of working collaboratively with teaching artists, businesses, professionals and experts of a variety of disciplines, to provide arts-centered solutions to life's problems for our youth and families. We are as committed and excited to collaborate with, as we are to serve, community members in the Long Island area who can either benefit from or contribute to our programs regardless of race, creed or socioeconomic status.
