AJ Williams-Myers African Roots Center

  • About Us

Located in the Ponckhockie neighborhood of Kingston, NY, the A. J. Williams-Myers African Roots Center uplifts the history and culture of Black, Indigenous and People of Color. We do so with programs for children, teens, and adults, through our Library collection, with our After School Program, through our cultural programming, and by making our space available to community groups and organizations that share our commitment to the advancement of historical knowledge, cultural enrichment, civic engagement, and social justice. Everything we provide to the community is free of charge.
