About Us
Starfish Language Center located in Ubud, Bali's artistic and cultural hub, offer an opportunity to underprivilaged Balinese children to learn English language free of charge.
As part of a non profit organization Tri Hita Karana Bali, Starfish's mission is to provide impoverished local Balinese with access to language courses in order to enhance their job prospects. Classes are taught by international volunteers or native speakers.
Starfish also offers affordable language courses to travelers, expatriates, and local businesses with all profits going to support free English classes to Balinese children. Learning English, Indonesian, French, Japanese, Spanish at Starfish is a unique experience involving an interactive environment with native speaking teachers.
