Ora Houston for City Council District #1

We are a group of passionate citizens who are dedicated to elected Ms Ora Houston to be the first City Council member for District #1.

For the first time in the history of Austin, we are able to elect represntatives from our communities, our neighborhoods and our streets. This will allow parts of Austin that, for decades, have not had their voices heard at city hall to join in the conversation that will lead Austin into the future.

Our campaign isnt just about getting votes. Our campaign also has a stated mission of making the community a better place. Our volunteers and staff go out into the community, at neighborhood associations and non-profits and volunteer our time to help them achieve their mission. During these times we do not campaign or politik, we just do what all elected officials should do: make the communities they serve a better place.
