    AFIRE is a Catholic movement that provides evidenced-based programs and resources to help individuals, parishes, and organizations provide education, healing, and hope to those impacted by addictions. (This is an ecumenical movement)

    About Us

    AFIRE was established to help any community or individual learn about and get get resources for any addiction.

    This is a list of some of our achievements and ongoing efforts:

    • Donated the We Thirst: Christian Reflections on Addiction educational video series to 58 libraries in 22 states and 8 countries
    • Provided healing prayer services and Rosary walks
    • Distributed countless prayer cards for those suffering from addictions and their loved ones
    • Distributed Rosary pamphlets for healing from addictions in society
    • Presented the educational program (We Thirst) for parishes that needed assistance in presenting it
    • Provided educational video series at no cost to parishes and ministries
    • Provided parishes and individuals with resources on our website (for addiction recovery, treatment, and much more)
    • Prayed weekly Vespers with the community on Zoom
    • The AFIRE website includes many resources and tips to help individuals and communities.
