  • About Us

Founded by John Dau, one of the "Lost Boys" of Sudan who was featured in the documentary "God Grew Tired of Us" and authored his memoirs by the same name, the John Dau Foundation has the mission to provide health services in South Sudan where none previously existed.

In May 2007, JDF constructed the Duk Lost Boys Clinic in John Dau's home village. Since then, JDF has been operating the Clinic, which has received over 30,000 patient visits since opening, treating patients for a range of diseases, as well as providing complete Maternal Child Health care and outreach campaigns.
