Habitat for Humanity International Asia Pacific

Habitat for Humanity International is a nonprofit, ecumenical Christian organization. We are dedicated to eliminating substandard housing and homelessness worldwide and to making adequate, affordable shelter a matter of conscience and action. Our ministry was founded on the conviction that every man, woman and child should have a simple, decent place to live in dignity and safety - shelter from wind, rain and cold is basic human need. We began working in the Asia Pacific region in 1983 and are now presence in Afghanistan, Australia, Bangladesh, Cambodia, China (including Hong Kong), Fiji, India, Indonesia, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, Mongolia, Nepal, New Zealand, Pakistan, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Vietnam, Timor Leste, Laos, Myanmar and Samoa.
