Mission
Revolutionize health solutions for the communities that need it most, by providing individuals with the access, information and resources they need to make informed, high-quality health decisions for themselves and the ones they care for. We take a community approach to health and offer workshops, outdoor events, and partnerships with healthcare organizations, community groups and fitness/outdoor brands, that enhance mental health, bolster physical well-being and provide safe outdoor experiences. By embracing a broader definition of "health," we will transform health solutions for marginalized communities and anyone who seeks to define and cultivate health on their own terms.
About Us
We are excited to bring back Not Just For Runners 5K/1-Mile and Health Fair, and introduce "The Empowered Voice" and "Empowered Outings" series. The Empowered Voice is an ongoing series of informational workshops that will include panelists and speakers who provide valuable insight on navigating our systems and obtaining the health solutions needed to enhance our quality of life. Along with our workshop series is our Empowered Outings which will host events and activities that provide safe and inclusive opportunities for our communities to enjoy the outdoors. Join us in expanding the definition of health, and share in our vision to shift the system from a "sick care" model to one that prioritizes overall health and well-being.
