    International Student Exchange (ISE) is a non-profit J-1 student exchange program that fulfills its mission of educating tomorrow's leaders by bringing together international teens, volunteer host families, and local American high schools. Our cultural exchange programs make it possible for students to learn and grow in ways that extend beyond the classroom and provide a competitive edge in our increasingly interconnected world.

    About Us

    ISE is headquartered in Bay Shore, NY with over forty Regional Offices strategically located throughout the United States to provide local support to our program participants. We work closely with the U.S. Department of State and over 100 independent international agencies in over 45 countries around the world for the recruitment, placement, and supervision of exchange students with volunteer host families.
