Marquette County Habitat for Humanity
About Us
Marquette County Habitat for Humanity is an ecumenical Christian housing ministry, working to eliminate poverty housing by building simple, decent homes in partnership with low income people. With volunteer labor and tax-deductible donations of money, materials and services, Habitat builds safe, affordable homes in Marquette County. Houses are sold at no profit to partner families/individuals via no-interest mortgages. Each homeowner partner must invest several hundred hours of sweat equity with Habitat to build their own home, as well as homes for others. Habitat provides a hand up to families striving to reach their goal--homeownership.
