Adopt an Inmate

We are an all-volunteer organization that matches up outside volunteers with people on the inside who are looking for mentorship and support. We do not charge inmates or their families for our services. To date we have facilitated over 1,200 prisoner adoptions. We also partner with university professors and students on collaborative projects involving data we have collected directly from prisoners in our database. (Volunteering does not require direct communication with prisoners). Students of criminal justice, sociology, political science, counseling, psychology, etc., will find this work especially educational and rewarding. As a non-profit, we can provide community service hours.
