    Since it was established in 1989, the Georgia Council for the Hearing Impaired (GACHI) has furthered one mission: to establish and maintain a network of statewide services for the deaf, hard of hearing, late deafened, deaf-blind and other individuals and groups with whom we interact. To fulfill our mission, we rely on a combination of funding sources, which includes state-appropriated funds (set by the Georgia General Assembly) and generous grants and donations from private foundations, businesses and individuals
