  • About Us

The NGO Justice and Dignity of the Women of Sahel (JDWS) is a non-profit founded in September 10, 2019 of reflection and initiatives whose main objective is a commitment against violence, especially physical and psychological ones, against women and girls around the world and particularly in the Sahel.

To do this, (JDWS), inserts its action in international solidarity and counts on the participation of individuals and organizations convinced of the need to meet this challenge through, among other things, education, awareness raising, and citizen and human engagement.

Through this NGO, we hope to work on prevention and contribute to the fight against the scourge of GBV by providing the maximum of help to women and girls survivors of violence. We had, on a voluntary basis, started the fight several years ago, with an ad hoc, through helping to document several acts of violence against women in the Sahel, particularly in Mali, and work  with various government and non-government partners in order to share with them these cases and to be able to alleviate suffering and restore their dignity to women and girls.

By creating this NGO, we intend to formalize and coordinate actions to combat violence of all kinds against women and girls with the various partners, both inside and outside Mali.

The NGO Justice and Dignity for the Women of Sahel (JDWS) aims to build a network where solidarity, sharing and exchange promote positive human values which take into account the difference of the two sexes and participate in the establishment of a non-violent society.
