    Douglas L. Jamerson's mission is to provide a diverse and caring learning environment with highly qualified teachers, unique family and community partnerships, and distinct engineering curriculum that promotes productive citizenship and highest student achievement. The PTA supports Jamerson's mission and the school's overall vision to Vision of Engineering Innovative Thinkers for Global Success.

    About Us

    Our PTA is very active and has won several local, state, and national awards for their efforts. The board consists of over 20 people, and we have more than 300 members. Our PTA sponsors extracurricular clubs, field trips, staff appreciation, monthly events, All Pro Families, the annual Back-to-School Picnic and BooHoo/YaHoo Breakfast, and much more. We are one of the only PTA School of Excellence award recipients in Florida. One of our major school fundraisers is to staff the St. Petersburg Grand Prix with volunteers over the 3-day race period. It is a lot of fun and helps give back to the city and school. Please join us!
