Partnering with the Inland Northwest to reach the poor with the love and power of the Gospel so that they might become God-dependant contributing members of society.

For the poor shall never cease out of the land: therefore I command thee, saying, Thou shalt open thine hand wide unto thy brother, to thy poor, and to thy needy, in thy land. Deuteronomy 15:11

    About Us

The Union Gospel Mission has ministered to Spokanes homeless and needy men since 1951.

The present facility was completed in 1990 and houses up to 185 guests at 1224 E. Trent, just east of downtown Spokane. The Mission offers a drug and alcohol rehabilitation program to its residents.

Over 3,000 individuals benefit from the Union Gospel Missions services each year. All services provided at the Mission are offered free of charge through the continuing support of the caring people of Spokane

In addition to the men's shelter our ministry includes Anna Ogden Hall, our women and children's facility, two thrift stores, a free kids camp, and an auto donation, repair, and resell program. All areas utilize volunteers.
