About Us

The Ramsey Educational Development Institute (REDI) was founded in 1998 as an adult literacy & workforce development non-profit agency. REDI realized that to best meet the needs of adults seeking to continue their education and find employment, addressing the needs of their children was the next logical step. With that in mind, 2 divisions were created: Vocational & Training and Children & Family Services.

The Children & Family Services division provides Early Intervention services to children and their families living in Montgomery County Pennsylvania. These services include:

  • Behavior Therapy
  • Occupational Therapy
  • Physcial Therapy
  • Special Instruction
  • Speech & Language Therapy
  • Supports for Children who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing
  • Social Work
  • Case Management
  • Nutrition
  • Parent Training
  • Parent-Toddler Classes

All of our services are delivered in the community, providing support, services and training to families, parents, caregivers, and children in their natural environments -- in Early Childhood Education settings, at camp, at the grocery store, during medical appointments, at the mall....wherever they need help.

REDI provides these services to over 400 children each year and employs over 50 teachers, therapists (OT, PT, SP, BH, Nutrition, Social Work), case managers and administrative personnel.
