WILD NEST BIRD REHAB

  • Mission

Wild Nest Bird Rehab, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to rehabilitating Georgia’s injured and orphaned birds for release back to the wild and educating the public about their conservation.

    About Us

Wild Nest Bird Rehabilitation was created out of passion and necessity. Currently, no other rehabilitation facility dedicated to wild birds exists in Georgia, and fewer than a dozen state- and federally-permitted private bird rehabilitators practice in the state. Wild Nest’s beginnings were much the same. For years, Wild Nest founder Nancy Eilen cared for hundreds of wild birds in her home. In late 2020, Nancy founded Wild Nest Bird Rehab, Inc., a 501(c)3 non-profit organization helping birds in metro Atlanta and beyond. With a flock of committed volunteers, Wild Nest endeavors to rehabilitate and release wild birds in need and to preserve and protect all birds through educating the public about what we can all do to reduce threats to birds and create a safer, healthier world for all living beings.
