The Rochelle Lee Fund

  • About Us

The mission of The Rochelle Lee Fund (RLF) is to develop readers -- children who not only know how to read, but do read -- frequently, widely, and willingly.

To develop children as readers, RLF invest in teachers as agents of change. RLF fosters a network of urban educators, builds teacher capacity through high-caliber professional development programs, and creates literacy-rich classrooms by providing new, high-quality children's books for these teachers to implement best literacy practices.

RLF is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. RLF is not a foundation. RLF currently focuses on preK-8 grades throughout the Chicago Public Schools.
