Maryland Fur Babies was born out of a simple act of compassion when a local caregiver, on a fixed income, began feeding and protecting stray cats and animals in her neighborhood. Recognizing the growing need, Maryland Fur Babies was formally established as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit (EIN: 83-4101673) to expand this mission and provide sustainable support for animals across our community.
Our goals are to:
Rescue and rehabilitate abandoned, stray, and neglected animals.
Provide food, shelter, and veterinary care for fur babies in need.
Reduce the stray animal population through education and community involvement.
Inspire compassion and awareness through outreach and partnerships.
