Congo Activists of Michigan

  • About Us

Today, in D.R.Congo, militias from many countries are pillaging villages and attacking civilians. Women as old as 80 and as young as 5 have been victims of rape and other forms of sexual violence. More than 5.4 million people have died. Women are targeted daily for gang rape, torture, and sexual slavery. Shockingly, this conflict receives almost no news coverage.

Congo Activists of Michigan is a group of grassroots activists in Michigan raising awareness about the conflict in D.R. Congo, actively working for justice and peace in DRC, and raising funds to support organizations doing powerful work to end the crisis and/or heal the survivors.
