Friends of Young Achievers

  • About Us

The Friends of Young Achievers (FOYA), an independent 501c3 nonprofit created in 1999, supports the Young Achievers School’s efforts to expand high quality learning opportunities that empower its students to realize their infinite potential.

To meet this mission, FOYA builds partnerships, raises funds, manages grants, collaborates to develop the school budget, and builds awareness for the school’s work in the greater community.

The Young Achievers School, a Boston Public School located in Mattapan, serves 570 students in grades K0-8th. Per the state of Massachusetts, 80 percent of our students are deemed "high needs."
