  • About Us

Friends of READ/Orange County is an organization committed to the support of the literacy services of the Orange County Public Library, primarily through resource development, public awareness and recognition services for volunteers and learners. Through these efforts, the FROC group strives to positively impact the quality of life for all involved – learners, other volunteers and the Orange County community.

We seek individuals who desire a challenge and want to help shape the organization. We need people who have leadership skills and interest or experience in the areas of Board development, resource development and fundraising, increasing public awareness, and recognition services. The only degree you require is a degree of caring. Literacy changes lives!
