RED BARN COOPERATIVE NURSERY SCHOOL

The Red Barn tradition is one of parents, teachers and staff working respectfully and cooperatively together for the benefit of all children. This collaboration started in 1943 and the Red Barn Nursery School is one of the oldest cooperative nursery schools in the Boston area. Our goal is that parents, teachers and staff accept the responsibility of this tradition and foster the mission for future Red Barn children.

Mission​ Statement

It is the mission of the Red Barn Cooperative Nursery School to provide a safe haven for children to grow and learn about themselves and the world around them. Dedicated families and committed teachers and staff work together to foster a learning environment founded on respect and a shared vision for children. Children at the Red Barn Nursery School learn that they are part of a caring and compassionate community that challenges and supports their growth as active learners, socially conscious and intellectually curious individuals
