University of Denver Graduate School of Social Work (GSSW) – Through excellence in teaching, scholarship and leadership, the mission of GSSW is to foster responsibility regarding social and economic justice, quality of life and a multicultural community, based on equality for all people. GSSW promotes the profession of social work locally, nationally and internationally in order to alleviate and prevent social problems affecting individuals, families and communities.
Both MSW and PhD degree degrees are offered. MSW students may choose a concentration in Child Welfare; Children & Youth: Risks & Positive Development; Family Systems; Aging Services & Policy; Health & Wellness; Mental Health; Organizational Leadership & Policy Practice; or Sustainable Development & Global Practice. Dual degrees are offered in international relations, law, theology and other fields. Specialized certificates are offered in Animal-Assisted Social Work, Couples and Family Therapy, and Social Work with Latinos/as.
