The comprehensive information technology curriculum, enhanced by specialized knowledge in cybersecurity, is geared to working professionals from a variety of backgrounds who want to take their career to the next level.

The online Master of Science in Information Technology–Cybersecurity Concentration begins with a required two-week orientation that earns high marks from students. Whether you are a recent graduate who has taken online courses or a mid-career professional who has not taken a college course—online or on-campus—in decades, the orientation prepares you to succeed in the online

learning environment.

Candidates are required to hold a four-year undergraduate degree or equivalent from a regionally accredited institution. Though many students hold a bachelor’s degree in a technical or related area (e.g., information technology, information systems, computer science, software engineering, computer engineering, sciences or mathematics), it is not a requirement. Students with non-technical degrees may be required to take additional courses as electives.

The Seidenberg School of Computer Science and Information Systems will consider international applications who intend to participate in the MSIT-Cybersecurity program from their home country.
