OIC’s mission is to provide training, basic skills, supportive counseling and job creation services to primarily low-income persons regardless of race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, age, or national origin.

Since 1970, OIC of New London County, Inc. has provided career technical training, vocational counseling, and job development services for low income individuals that are seeking to enter into gainful employment. OIC strives to help each customer to develop realistic vocational goals, job skills, job readiness attitudes, job seeking strategies, and ultimately assist them with securing employment. OIC is successful at serving special populations of ex-offenders including female domestic violence offenders, first time family violence offenders, and their victims.
