Sustainable Development Centre

The Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) ended in 2015, succeeded by the Sustainable Development Goals that same year. For the SDGs to be successful, it requires collective action and coordination between governments, INGOs, NGOs, CBOs, lawyers, businesses, diplomats, and people at the heart of the global development in a climate of increasing inequality, rising fragility and conflict, unprecedented forced displacement, and climate change.

The Sustainable Development Centre addresses these issues head on. The Sustainable Development Centre focuses on changemakers around the world who are working to eradicate poverty, promote equality and rights, bring education to all, and combat disasters and climate change. We highlight the 17 Sustainable Development Goals and the associated 169 targets that builds a platform to achieve these aims by 2030. Special emphasis is placed on local change-makers and locally-driven implementation of sustainable development that works with traditionally excluded or discriminated groups.
