The School of Public Health is located in beautiful Providence, Rhode Island, a city known for its innovative arts scene, exceptional culinary offerings, and unpretentious vibe. Providence’s small size makes it the perfect place to learn and practice public health, with abundant opportunities for collaboration across the Brown University campus and with the Warren Alpert Medical School, our 8 affiliated hospitals, the Rhode Island Department of Health, as well as many nearby community organizations. Our students learn public health by doing public health!
