English Center of Antsirabe

The English Center of Antsirabe (ECA) was founded in 1995 as a joint project launched by the US Embassy and the Malagasy Ministry of Education. Now a private organization, it is one of the oldest English language learning centers in Antsirabe (and Madagascar). Through five levels of evening classes, children's classes, a short-film making course, and a dance class, it seeks to promote cross-cultural Anglo- and American-Malagasy understanding, as well as professionalism in the English language.
