  • About Us

The Women's Coalition of St. Croix, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, works to fulfill the mission to support and empower people impacted by violence.

Our volunteer victim advocates are on duty 24/7/365, offering support without judgment to crime victims and survivors. At our crisis center, we offer free and confidential counseling; other services include: emergency housing, food and clothing and other means of support to assist with healing and rebuilding safer lives. Our 24-hour hotline is always answered by a person, with direct access to our victim advocates for immediate crisis intervention.

    We operate four facilities:

    • our crisis center/main office for counseling and administration of our programs and services
    • Sojourner House - our emergency shelter for survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, dating violence and stalking
    • the Alice Pfaelzer Children's Center for education programs
    • Closet To Closet, our thrift store where gently-used clothing and household items are provided to those in need free of charge through our crisis center, and available to the general public at discounted prices.
