Wallingford Presbyterian Church is a member-congregation of the Presbyterian Church (USA) and a people who have accepted the call of God to be gathered in worship, nurtured in mind and spirit, and sent to work in the world for love and justice. Our effort and prayer are that we would faithfully demonstrate the love of God for all people. Responding to the Lordship of Jesus Christ, we are traveling together the journey of Christian discipleship.
Time and again God calls to our number other inquirers who long for communion with God and meaningful partnership with others who hope to live faithfully in the world.
Wherever you are in responding to God’s call, you are invited to join us as we journey.
Be present in worship! Participate in opportunities for learning! Help us to serve Christ in our neighborhood! Let your faith grow at Wallingford Presbyterian Church!
As you embark from where you are, traveling toward the future that God imagines for you, may you be strengthened and encouraged by your time among us.
We have two full time pastors, Suzan Hawkinson and Rob Ross. We also have two part-time associate pastors Ken Wells and Barrie Shepherd.
The church is wheel chair accessible.
Dress ranges from casual (shorts and flip flops) to white shirts, ties and suits. There is no dress code.
We have a bell choir and voice choir. Both practice on Thursday evenings and new members are always welcome. Liz Braden, our organist and choir director, is a great conductor. (She also conducts the Philadelphia Opera Company.)
